To Great-Grandmother's House We Go...

Lauren and Dad traveled to Port Orchard to visit Nannie and Poppie on Friday to have lunch and show them just how big our little girl is getting. It took her a little while to warm up, but for a while she let Nannie feed her some yogurt. After lunch we looked at pictures and Lauren played her favorite game with Poppie - "lift me up." She loves to pull herself up and stand tall. It was wonderful to see and spend time with them.

The weather turned out to be a nice this afternoon, so the three of us headed to Coulon Park to play at the playground. The swing was by far Lauren's favorite playground ride. Here are some pictures:

New Year's Day with Auntie Dre

We went to see Auntie Dre on New Year's Day who was over from Spokane. Lauren did surprisingly well with new faces and that was the day she started getting in her crawling motion.

New Year's Eve

We had the Olson's over for dinner on New Year's Eve. Lauren loved to watch Ryan walk all over the place and she gladly shared her new toys. Ryan helped her self to the dog food in the kitchen, which I think Howie and Amos realized was a little foreshadowing. The adults had a great time playing Wii after the kids went to bed and even stayed up until midnight.

On New Year's Eve we ventured out to the Seattle Aquarium and Lauren loved to watch the fish and the sea otters really put on a show for her.

First Christmas

Sorry we're just now getting around to updating the blog. We had a wonderful Christmas and it was a very enjoyable two weeks with Stacie being off from work and I was able to take some time off as well. Here are some videos from the 4 Christmas celebrations we had. Lauren is very blessed to have such a caring and generous family all around her.
