The Great Pumpkin

We took our little pumpkin to a pumpkin patch in Enumclaw with Grammy and Grandpa Lukkes today in her Halloween costume. She received lots of compliments on her puppy dog costume that Grammy gave her. However, it didn't last long because of an unusually warm October day. Lauren met some farm animals and then we went through the corn maze where she decided to fall asleep. At the end we picked out a pumpkin to take home. Afterwards we went back to Grammy and Grandpa's for a nice dinner where Lauren was a little chatterbox.

Dedicated to the Lord!

On Sunday many family and friends joined us at our church to have Lauren publicly dedicated to the Lord. Pastor Randy did a wonderful job praying over Lauren and our family. We're so thankful for all our family and friends who were there to celebrate with us.







"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16

Aunt Sheri's visit

Lauren met her Aunt Sheri this past weekend and it was great to have her here and see our new family in action. Lauren provided much entertainment which included an exciting ride on her own personal scooter at Grandma and Grandpa Schaefer's.
